Modern automotive paint is typically a two stage process. First the basecoat is applied, which has the color and the metal flake in it. Then a clearcoat is sprayed on top. The clearcoat acts much like a lens and creates the perception of depth and shine. When the clearcoat becomes scratched, dull or swirled, the depth is lost.

Older single stage paints (like the Miata shown below) often lack the depth of two or three stage paints, however when SCRS is applied the finish will take on an incredible deep wet look.

SCRS permanently repairs heavy scuffs and scratches, and brings faded, weathered, sand blasted paint back to it's original factory shine. The end result looks, feels and wears like the factory clearcoat!

Waxes, polishes and sealants mask or fill the damage instead of repairing it. These products will eventually wash off.
