Mount Hamilton Run
Sunday, November 15, 1998

Here are a few shots of the most recent Mount Hamilton Run.  24 Miata's and 2 go-fast RX-7's made the twisty trek up to Lick Observatory and down the other side of the mountain to the Junction Restaurant way out in the back fourty of the Livermore Valley. The weather couldn't have been nicer and the scenery is awesome. If you've never done this, you're missing out on a great day of Miata-Active excitement. This route has over 360 twists and turns, one for every day of the year. It's a workout but you'll really get to see what your car is capable of.
Miata's begin to gather at Golfland in Milpidas. Neal Forss, Nanda Holz, Fern Buchanan,
Tom MacDonald, Betsy Satterfield and Jim Buchanan at Lick Observatory.
Everyone milling around enjoying the views. The road leading up to the Observatory. I'm ready to go again!
Actual cows guarding a cattle guard.
Bet you mooed when you drove by?
The scene at the Junction restaurant just after the sonic boom from Shiv's RX-7 driving by.
Eric Amador's Skateboard Windstop.
Hey I get to throw in a shameless plug somewhere, right?
This shot was taken at the top of Mount Madonna a couple of months ago at the BAMA picnic.
